It very useful to use a sync service to podcasts synchronize across my devices.* Gpodder.net is an open source community driven service in active development that many android podcast player apps already connect to. The thing is though, I love using your app and its interface is excellent (and I want it all! )
They offer both a Simple API for quick integration into existing apps or an Advanced API for tight integration. Check it out: Gpodder Web Services API 2
* - After the Google Reader/Listen diaspora I tried many, many replacements. I started down the list with the ones that had cloud sync service (feedly, digg, gpodder, aol, beta doggcatcher cloud sync, etc.) capabilities. Podkicker was one of the last apps I tried, only after I had run through all the sync capable apps in dissatisfaction. Cloud sync is a great selling point. (Plus you get to put the buzzword "cloud" in your app description. )
