Hi,
Loving Podkicker Pro, and been using it successfully for a while now, however I do have an issue that has cropped up because of changing the thing that I hook my phone up to via bluetooth (my car)...
Previously I used a Venturi Mini to stream my music and Podkicker from my phone to the stereo in my old car, this worked perfectly, as long as I started up Podkicker manually (otherwise the Mini would default to controlling the standard 'Play Music' app), the Venturi Mini could then take control of Podkicker, no problem.
Now I've recently bought a new car (Mercedes) that has its own built in bluetooth system. My phone is picked up and, upon opening, 'Play Music' is fully controllable, however when it comes to Podkicker: perhaps a second or so after play the system believes playback is paused and as such no sound can be heard from the car (or phone) speakers. Podkicker playback is not actually paused as it appears to be still playing the podcast.
Manual (via the phone) stop & starting playback doesn't change anything. It's as if the car system has dropped connection to the phone (or vice versa).
I can "trick" the system/app by switching to the 'Play Music' app & playing a track, pausing, then switching to Podkicker and playing a podcast - but this is just a workaround and also doesn't allow the car system control of Podkicker (system still reads as if playback is paused).
I've looked here, Mercedes sites, and for some kind of app solution, but to no avail.
Any help would be gratefully received, thanks in advance.
Running both before and after change of system: Motorla Razr I, Android 4.1.2 stock rom.
